Title: The Honest Woodcutter
There lived a wood-cutter in a village. One day he was cutting wood in the jungle near a river. Suddenly, his axe fell into the river. The river was very deep. The wood-cutter did not know how to swim or dive. So, he was sitting there sadly. Then a wonderful thing happened. A beautiful fairy appeared before him from the water. She asked the woodcutter why he was so sad. The woodcutter explained that he had lost his only axe in the river and now had no way to earn his livelihood. The fairy felt pity for him.
She dived into the water and brought up a gleaming golden axe. She asked, “Is this your axe?” The honest woodcutter replied, “No, it is not mine.” The fairy dived again and brought a silver axe. The woodcutter again said, “No, this is not mine either.” Finally, the fairy brought an iron axe. Seeing his old axe, the woodcutter smiled happily and said, “Yes, this is my axe!”
The fairy was extremely pleased with his honesty. She gave him his iron axe and also presented the gold and silver axes as a reward for his honesty. The woodcutter returned home happily and lived a prosperous life.

Subject: Request for Increasing Common Room Facilities
Respected Sir,
We, the students of your madrasah, would like to draw your kind attention to the fact that our common room lacks adequate facilities. Though we have a large number of students, the common room is quite small and lacks proper seating arrangements. Furthermore, there are not enough indoor games like carrom, chess, or table tennis to refresh our minds. We also don’t have enough daily newspapers or magazines, which deprives us of knowing current world affairs during our off-periods. As a result, many students spend their leisure time unproductively.
We, therefore, pray and hope that you would be kind enough to take necessary steps to increase the facilities in our common room as soon as possible and oblige thereby.
Yours obediently,
Sadik
